At Mother Duck Learning Center, each age group has a classroom and schedule tailored to children’s developmental needs, from nurturing infant care to kindergarten‑ready Pre‑K.
Infants (6 weeks – 16 months)
Warm, quiet spaces with soft flooring and age‑appropriate toys for early exploration.
Teachers follow your baby’s cues for feeding, sleep, and play, keeping you informed about diapers, bottles, naps, and milestones.
Daily experiences include tummy time, music, sensory play, and lots of conversation to support early language and bonding.
Toddlers (16 – 33 months)
Active classrooms designed for movement, discovery, and early independence.
Toddlers enjoy sensory bins, blocks, art, outdoor play, and simple group activities that build language, motor skills, and problem‑solving.
Teachers support big feelings with gentle guidance, simple choices, and consistent routines.
A balance of structured learning and open play focused on curiosity and creativity.
Daily activities may include circle time, stories, early math and science, art, and dramatic play.
Children practice cooperating with peers, listening in a group, and building self‑help skills.
Preschool (3 – 4 years)
Kindergarten‑ready experiences that still feel playful and engaging.
Children work on letter and number recognition, pre‑writing, early reading skills, and simple science and nature projects.
Group projects, turn‑taking games, and problem‑solving activities build confidence for the transition to elementary school.
Pre‑K (4 – 6 years)
We have had a top notch experience at Mother Duck! The teachers are so caring and the admin staff is very attentive. We felt extremely welcomed at this school and felt at peace each day knowing our child was in the best hands. We can’t recommend this school enough!!
